My First Seed Bead Earrings

This earring was the first piece I learnt to make using Japanese seed beads and Swarovski crystals. I still remember the quiet concentration it took to stitch the tiny beads around the crystal, one by one, until the frame slowly formed.

It may look simple, but at the time it felt like discovering a whole new world of patience and creativity. There is something deeply calming about beadwork. The rhythm of the needle, the sparkle of the crystal slowly coming to life.

Looking back at the first pair reminds me that every craft journey begins with learning the basics. And sometimes the simplest carry the most meaning.
