Working Through the Storm
The morning started with dark, threatening clouds stretching across the sky. For a moment, I wondered if I should turn back before I had even begun.
Instead, I kept walking.
Along the way, I checked on the bird’s nest I spotted couple of weeks back. It is still balancing high in the tree, a reminder that strength is often built quietly over time. A sign about stray dogs reminded me to stay aware but not be ruled by fear. And as the clouds slowly gave way, brilliant yellow flowers appeared along the roadside, brightening an otherwise gloomy morning.
By the time I got home, I had completed 6.5km.🚶🏻♀️🎧
Today’s walk reminded me that not every journey begins under blue skies. Sometimes the weather looks uncertain, the path feels intimidating, and excuses are easy to find. But often, the reward comes simply from taking the next step.
One step at a time. One walk at a time. One day closer to Camino 2027.🥾☘️
